This role will allow you to play a leading role in the development of new applications, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and reporting. Your keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities allows you to identify and resolve issues and drive customer solutions forward for the organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write embedded code that communicates on the client side with various cloud interfaces
- Analysis of customer product requirements
- Specification of applications in co-operation with the customer
- Design and implementation of automotive applications
- Developer Testing on development environment and on the actual infotainment system
- Review and investigate issues in codes developed by peers
- Partner closely with customers and the client’s team members to establish and maintain clear, concise communication through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up
- Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations from project experiences.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Years of Work Experience:
4+ years of experience in a similar position.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years’ embedded software development experience, preferably in connection with user interface technologies.
- Experiences in programing (C/C++, gRPC, webservices, REST)
- Experience on embedded devices, build systems
- Familiar with machine learning
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Demonstrated ability to master new technologies and tools quickly
- Strong team player and customer focus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with using source control tools like Perforce, Mercurial, Git.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, Perl, XML
- Experience with MS Visio
- Experience developing on Linux
- Familiarity with web development
- Fluency in a second language (European or Asian languages preferred)
- Experience following a software development process (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
