Transform your experience as a Web Developer into an amazing position in Artificial Intelligence! This role will allow you to play a leading role in the development of UI experience, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and reporting. Your keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities allows you to identify and resolve issues and drive customer solutions forward for the organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and implementation of a hybrid voice recognition system in which audio is simultaneously streamed to an embedded solution as well as one of multiple cloud solutions. Work involves processing and arbitrating the results.
- Writing code in TypeScript and using proprietary technologies.
- Analysis of costumer product requirements.
- Specification of applications in co-operation with the costumer.
- Design and implementation of user interface applications.
- Review and investigate issues in codes developed by peers.
- Partner closely with customers and the client’s team members to establish and maintain clear, concise communication through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up.
- Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations from project experiences.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Years of Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript development, particularly in user interface, web development, web solutions or front-end development.
- Experience in programing (TypeScript, JavaScript, Web Services, REST).
- Experience with source control tools (Git/Gitlab, Artifactory).
- Working knowledge of build systems (Gradle, Jenkins or other).
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to master new technologies and tools quickly.
- Strong team player and customer focus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in voice recognition or NLU is a huge asset.
- Familiar with machine learning and natural language processing.
- Experience using unit test frameworks (JEST, Google Test).
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with gRPC.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, Perl, XML, webservices, REST, gRPC.
- Experience on embedded devices, setting up hardware equipment in support of software development tasks (I.e. configure software on target device, connect cabling, etc.).
- Fluency in a second language (European or Asian languages preferred).
- Experience following a software development process (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
