Born and raised in India, Joshua John has used his unique skill set and experience as an IT specialist and human resources expert to establish himself as one of our most successful Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists.

Before joining Experience AI Solutions, Joshua completed a bachelor of computer applications at Sikkim Manipal University, a private university located in the mountains of northern India. During his time at the school he learned system management, software and hardware development, networking and coding.

After graduating, he moved to England to complete a master’s degree in international business administration at the University of Northampton with a focus on human resources.

With both of these degrees in hand, Josh worked for a few years in England for a recruitment agency before returning to India and joining a human resources company. While in India he met his future wife, who is French. Together, they moved to France where Josh continued to build his career as an IT recruiter. After spending five years in Europe, they decided to move to Montreal and settle down. Not soon after, Josh landed a job with Experience AI Solutions and hasn’t looked back since.

Today, Josh is the company’s senior talent acquisition specialist and has worked for the company for the past five years.

One of the reasons he has been so successful is because Josh has combined his IT skills with his experience working in human resources. This, coupled with Experience IT’s processes and ongoing training program, has set him up to better serve candidates. This has been extremely helpful because he understands clients’ recruitment needs while also being able to vet the skills and experience of potential candidates.

By having experience in both worlds, Josh has been able to help dozens of clients find top talent while also helping candidates land jobs that meet their needs and expectations.

Josh credits a lot of his success to Experience AI Solutions workplace culture, which believes in building meaningful relationships built on trust with both their clients and candidates. To do this, Josh makes it his goal to truly understand the client’s workforce needs so that he can find a candidate that will be the right fit.

He also spends a significant amount of time getting to know a candidate so that he can find a job that will be fulfilling and meet their expectations. He does this by having several conversations with candidates to discuss their skills, experience and what their job expectations are.

In many cases Josh also helps candidates refresh their CV and will help coach them before the interview. If the candidate is hired Josh will often stay in touch with them throughout their contract to check in and make sure they are happy with the position.

Josh’s approach is very different from other recruitment agencies, which often try to fill vacant positions as quickly as possible without regard for the best fit. Instead, Josh takes the time to actually get to know both his clients and candidates so that he can help both of them find what they are looking for.

“At Experience AI Solutions the recruiters are given the freedom to manage their own time and way of working. We do have numbers to hit, but we have the latitude to help others and take the time needed to spend with candidates; either to improve their CV or coach them on an interview,” said Josh.
